Data we collect

When you send an inquiry we collect your name, email address, optional engagement preference, preferred timing, and message content. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited. If you accept analytics cookies, we may collect aggregated usage metrics as described on the cookies page.

Purposes

We use inquiry data to respond to estimate requests, schedule scoping conversations, and maintain records needed for engagement administration. Logs support security and site reliability.

Legal bases

Where Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act applies, we process inquiry data based on your request to take steps prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating a professional practice. Analytics cookies run only with consent.

Retention

Inquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months unless an engagement begins, in which case records follow the retention schedule in the engagement letter (typically seven years for working papers). Server logs are rotated within 90 days.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Contact hello@dataroutingtech.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwanese authority.

International transfers

If we use email or hosting providers that process data outside Taiwan, we select providers that offer appropriate contractual protections and limit transfer to what is necessary to operate the site and respond to you.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with IT hosting providers under contract, or when required by law.
