Cookies policy
This page explains how cookies work on the Elm Harbor Controls website and how you can accept or reject optional cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or understand how pages are used. Related storage such as localStorage may hold your consent choice.
How we use cookies
We use essential cookies and storage required for basic site functions, including remembering your cookie preference. If you accept analytics cookies, we may measure aggregate visits to pages about audits for fintech so we can improve clarity of our field notes. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to engagements information or the contact form.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| elmharbor_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Elm Harbor Controls |
| elmharbor_analytics | Records that analytics cookies were accepted (no advertising profile) | 6 months | Elm Harbor Controls |
| _ga / similar | Optional aggregated visit measurement when accepted | Up to 2 years | Analytics provider (only if enabled after Accept) |
Managing or disabling cookies
Use Accept or Reject on our banner when it appears. Clearing site data in your browser removes the stored preference and the banner will show again. You can also block cookies in browser settings; essential functions such as reading pages will still work, though preference memory may reset.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may cause requests to Google Fonts. Optional analytics, if accepted, may set third-party cookies from the analytics provider. We do not use advertising networks on this site.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics cookies means we will not measure your visits for statistics. Essential preference storage may still be used if you interact with the banner. Site content and inquiry forms remain available either way.
